I have an Ivory James mare. She's perfect in my eyes. I am personally against A Smooth Guy for being a carrier of GBED and HERDA. Encouraging breeding to horses that carry genetic diseases just bothers me. I could care less if the mare is NEG, to me standing a stallion with known genetic defects is just disappointing.

I have been seeing some Ivory James off spring on the ads here and really liking what I'm seeing, If I was into breeding I would be really giving him a hard look.

I have an Ivory James. LOVE him. He's so naturally talented, by far the easiest I've ever trained. So smart and kind! His full sister just as easy. I have no experience with the other 2 stallions listed

I didn't know that... I guess that leaves 2 (at the moment!!)!

You DID know that.  You replied to my comment on another of your polls when I said the exact same thing 3 days ago.

I apologize... I did know that but not specifically what he was not negative for. Thank you both for bringing that to my attention!!

Ive been really liking Ivory James colts. They have nice hips, well put together.

Can't comment on trainability or how they run, but they look conformationally correct.

You couldn't pay me to breed to A Smooth Guy, don't support standing a non clean stallion. Can't believe that they do, honestly.

I've heard many good things about Ivory James.

I loved A Smooth Guy, but like everyone else I won't breed to a stud that isn't N/N

I am between Ivory James and FDF. I didn't want to vote though without knowing more on the mare? How's she bred?

I dont mean to be rude but this comparison is stupid.  There is a lot more to a matchup than name recognition and popularity.  Post pictures, credentials, pedigree of your mare  and a budget and you will likely get some meaninful input.
