I'm cruising websites looking for a lightweight blanket and neck attachment. If my horse wears a 75 in Weatherbeeta what size might she wear in a Tough 1 or SmartPak? I've never owned another brand. My understanding is that WB's run large, so she might wear a smaller size in another brand?

I buy the same size in any blanket. Have some Tough Ones. They fit the same way as all the others.

You were right. I realized that I had a Tough One that I got from my dad and it is a 75 and fits my mare. I ordered a Tough One lightweight sheet and neck cover for our mild, but rainy days. The sheet was half off!

Call the company and tell them the length you have for your horse.  They will check the information you give them for the blanket.  This will get you a good fit for length.  There are certain cuts in blankets to be concerned about for fit for some horses...not all blankets fit the same.

All blankets are typically measured the same way - chest, along side, to tail - and will tape that measurement (ie 74", 75", 78" etc).  It's the way they fit body-wise and the side drop, and the cut.  Weatherbeetas are roomy body-wise and then also offer a standard side gusset cut as well as a front gusset cut (Freestyle) that enables the horse to stretch out more in the leg.  Saxon's are a more narrow, standard fit but have a very short drop on the side so if you have a big/tall horse it will fit like a mini-skirt and the bottom edge usually falls right at the belly line.  Ozarks are roomy like the WB's and pretty close to the fit except they don't offer a front gusset.  Prof Choice blankets are a nice blankets, pretty standard, not as roomy as a WB but a nice fitting blanket all in all.  Big D's seem to run narrow in the chest, although I absolutely LOVE the Magnum blankets.  I just started carrying the Rambos/Amigo/Mio blankets from Horseware and although I don't know all the ins and outs of them yet, really like these blankets.  They have  stock horse turnout sheet that my bigger gelding is test-driving right now and I love the fit.
And then there's denier...  a whole other topic.
