That is hilarious! I know our Heeler, Daisy Mae is pretty quirky - don't EVEN say you're going to sit in her chair - she has a fit! We have to SPELL things in front of her - just like a kid!

That's too cute!  All our dogs have their own language.  Our toy aussie has a language all her own, she can tell you alot of things if you listen close!

We had to do that around our heeler too. I swear he understood every word we said. We could talk to him just like another person to get him to do things. He was also hard headed and stubborn, but so so smart. He knew about 20 tricks. With every one we taught him, the next one came easier. I miss him :(

LOL - our Border Collie pup we picked up from a board buddy in LA did this the first time she had hiccups!! LOL ... she is also super vocal and we have to spell certain things around her too!

Ha - a guy from work said, "You talk to her just like a kid!" - I taught her to put her toys in her toy box (using dog treats). She is so good at it, if there are no toys out and I tell her to "put her toys away" she'll go get one out, turn a circle and put it back! She is a hoot!

lol yes, heelers are like that! Although, those poor people think they got a heeler and that is NO heeler. Heelers are either blue, or red and the color looks like a red roan or blue roan and they have upright ears. That honestly looks more like a pit/pit cross.
