| I acquired a cheap one...but I'm officially in love with them and on the bandwagon. No more cold Iowa wind (not that it's been cold lately) sneaking down the front of my shirt...
Anyone have favorite places to buy? I'd rather support small business made in the USA but I have to balance that out with not being willing to pay $60-70 a pop that I've run across on a few sites. |

Location: Where I am happiest | wildragsbylois.com Beautiful rags with a huge selection. The large 44 square is $56 but these are heavy thick top quality of the highest grade of silk. You get what you pay for. My whole family loves our wild rags. Not only do they look good, but NOTHING keeps you warmer. |

| Right, I will probably invest in a couple thicker more expensive ones (thanks for letting me know ill be getting my money's worth!) for actual barn/outside work and cheaper/thinner ones to be fashionable :-p |

It's addicting. I'm limiting myself to one scarf per year, however I don't leave where it is really cold all winter long either.... |

So far I've just been doing a square knot. I like them with my button downs, but i'll gladly slap one on with a hoodie when the cold wind comes back to Iowa and invites itself down my neck while we have to go ride out and check cows! Brrr!
I'm going to google better/more fun ways to tie them though |

| I should have NEVER opened this thread!!! Some of those things are BEAUTIFUL!!! What sizes do you recommend? Different sizes for different uses I assume? Is there somewhere I can look that offers Wild Rags for Dummies type of information? |

I generally use a buckaroo knot, but you can do other easier knots and use slides too. They look good with just about anything. I even wear mine at the office. |

Location: would like to be where it does not snow | Go to your local fabric/craft store buy at least 2 yards cut to the size you prefer, (I make my husbands all the time extra large) sew the edges so they do not fray. Have fun with the colors. |

I've purchased the majority from Misty's Wildrags and Rustic Bling (both on Facebook). quality is awesome and you can purchase multiple sizes.
Happy Shopping! they're almost as addictive as horses... |
