I guess they are allowed to enter...but depending on how the preliminary hearing goes determines if they will actually get to perform.

I'm betting it will all get worked out and we will still see Trevor at the NFR next year.

I am wondering the same, between this and ERA having booths in Vegas at the NFR it makes you wonder. I dont know that I would let anyone who was suing me come to my events, recruit fans and awareness for their business and then allow them to enter in my rodeos if some sort of mediation wasn't taking place.

The PRCA has no control over Cowboy Christmas or any of the tradeshows.....

You would if you had no choice.  I believe a temporary restraining order was granted as part of the lawsuit that basically preserves the status quo -- i.e., keeps things going like they were before the controversy started.  The December 29th hearing is to determine if it should be made a permanent injunction while the suit is pending or if the temporary one should be lifted and the PRCA can restrict according to their new rules.

Oh ok, I wasn't sure what the rules were. I just thought they had allowed it...I didn't know PRCA didn't have a say in any of it. Good to know.

I thought there was a rule of the PRCA that no member involved in a legal action against the PRCA would be allowed to enter a PRCA sanctioned event?

This is why a retraining order was put in place that keeps the PRCA from using their new rule against any ERA member.
