Is anyone thinking about what they would like to accomplish or do next year?
I wouldn't exactly say mine is a resolution, but a goal. My goal is to compete at one barrel race this year. Little, I know, but my daughter will be turning 1 this year and I think we'll have our hands full with just her and our calves.

I have a slew of them.  One of my favorite things about New Years is to pull out my goal list and update them.  Choose a couple of things to focus on for the year.
I've decided my words for 2016 will be 'Relentless' and 'Simplify'.

Yes, I'm thinking about it, but haven't set any goals yet because I haven't gotten them squared away yet...too many options! LOL. I think one will be to do less work, LOL. That seems silly, but this last summer I was riding a colt, keeping my mare in shape, working my regular job with extra responsibilities and remodeling a house, I just can't do all that. So I think I'll cut out remodeling a house, LOL. But a lot of my resolutions have to do with my state of mind, for example, be happy. I have a whole list from last year that I will probably modify for this year.

Person wise: cook more, I got a new crock pot and skillet for Christmas, not going to say loose weight because if I cook more I'll be healthier and save money!

Horse wise: I've had my open horse for about 5-6 months, running top of 3D goal to accomplish is get her to the top of the 2D by next year, she's very capable as long as the rider stays with her lol

Not so much goals, but part of my New Years Resolution will be to stop being so negative. I really need to stop that.  Also to stop giving into negativity around me. I work with fairly negative people, so I have to find a way to avoid giving into whatever crap is going on. lol

I went to fallontaylor.com and printed off her goal sheets. I'm excited to try something new and other than the typical NY Resolutions!

Working on filling those sheets out too!
Really great tool for getting it down on paper!

More squats and planks....

and my 2015 barrel racing goals are just rolling over into 2016 since I made all of two or three competitive runs this year. Beat some previous times in arenas I frequent and hopefully win a BRF qualifier!

I do goals instead of resolutions. I post my goals the beginning of every year on my bathroom mirror to keep me motivated throughout the year!

I am goal setting in seven areas, i.e. intellectual, physical, spiritual, family, social, career, and financial. Most of them are small attainable goals I will write down. For example, my intellectual goal is to read one non-fiction book a month. I'm excited. I even have my seven year old on board to set some goals.

I resolve to not let anyone screw me over in 2016.

I resolve to be cordial to all, but not let anyone close that isn't already in 2016.

I resolve to become sane and healthy mentally again in 2016.

I resolve to enjoy barrel racing again in 2016.
