I was never able to have her ultrasound and figured at this point we will know soon enough since she would be due end of March. Baby movements? The mare was not being totally still.

Maybe..
Idk if it's the angle or what but she looks pretty thin to be 2 months off her due date.

She's not thin, I actually felt a thick layer of fat over her ribs for like the first time ever today lol but I do understand how it could look that way she's just built not very deep behind her ribs if that makes any sense.

?? ok I thought so but there's been a few mares I could have sworn had belly movements that turned out to not be pregnant so I wanted to make sure it wasn't just in my head!

This was her at 356 days last time she was bred. She looks big boy not 356 days big lol she had a huge filly in that belly and you would not have known she was bred till about a month before and then it seemed overnight she looked like this. But she never got to that uncomfortable stage I have seen most mares get to near the end. She just has a lot of room I guess. She's just a hair shy of 16H and built like a TB. Everyone always asks ifs she's off the track lol.

RE: Do you think there is a baby in this belly?
This was taught to me way back when vets were few and far between and too expensive to use on such a trivial need ...
NOT PREGNANT .... pee will stream out the color of plain old tea or black coffee and have that clear look
PREGNANT .. pee will have the color of coffee with cream in it ... it will appear to be a little bit milky...
and if doubtful ... catch some in a starbucks cup and taste it ... lol ...
I still use this visual pee test today to avoid a vet digging around in there after the 20 day check if using CS and creating an abortion when it is way past breeding time to do anything about it ...
Embryo is the most delicate the first 90 days ... so the less hands on the better ..
checking at 20 days also gives you a larger embryo to see on ultra sound and if not PG vet can tell if her new cycle has began .... so you get double your money's worth at the vet's ...
this time of year ... they are or they ain't ..... IF they are they will show up with a foal ~2 weeks prior to last breeding date or come March they will be dancing around looking for a dance partner ... lol
