If we consider Psalm 20 to be a prayer before the battle. Then Psalm 21 would be the praise after the battle. Few things are as encouraging to the child of God as answered prayers, and this particular psalm is heavily laden with plurality of them. Almost every verse makes mention of some act of God's grace that has been lovingly bestowed upon the one who trusts in The Lord.
Not only does the Pslamist stress what God has done for those who love Him, but he also reminds the reader of what God has done to those who are willing to receive it, His wrath awaits those who spurn and reject it. No wonder the writer of Hebrews would so solemnly declare, " It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" 10:31
Psalm 21:1-10. The king shall have joy in Your strength , O Lord; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request feom his lips. For You meet him with the blessings of goodness: You set a crown of pure gold upon his head. he asked life from You, and You gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. his glory is great in You salvation ; Honor and majesty You have placed upon him. For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedly glad with You presence. For the King trust in The Lord, and Theough the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved. Your hand will find You enemies; You right hand wll find those who hate You. you shall make them as a fiery oven in time of the anger; The Lord shall shallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. 13 Be exalted O Lord, in Your own strength! We will sing and praise Your power.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
