I have managed to put it on without gloves a few times (I like to flirt with the wilder side of life...) and today I was not successful.

Any suggestions on how to get it to wash off??

brake cleaner......then scrub your hands with soap and water really really good.

ETA: or you can use the orange bottle of mechanics hand cleaner, might be a little bit more easier on your hands than brake cleaner lol

YUP
and loads of lotion after all the soap.

My SO is a diesel mechanic. We keep a can by the back door for him and his buddies when they come in to eat. Brake cleaner, scrub, soap and water and then I make him put Nivea original lotion or Aquaphor lotion on after ward. It really really dries your hands out.

Haha! I'm thinking I may have to.... thank goodness I'm not a bank teller or someone who has to show their hands as part of their job.

The orange cleaner didn't work.... that's what our mechanic first directed me to, but he just said he had brake cleaner so I'm going to go try that!
