With God all things are possible

| Jesus is the foundation stone of our peace. He bridges the gap between God and man. The Scripture says, " he is our peace." And what wonderful benefits are ours: forgiveness( no more shame or guilt because of the past) , the continuous assurance of God's presence in our lives, and more to the point, HIS PEACE. The gift that is given to those who begin to follow the Master.
Because God is in control of your life, and you have a strong, unshakable conviction on this matter, then and only then will you have the necessary foundation to experience what the Scripture calls " the peace that passes understanding."
If you are controlled by a particular situation you are facing, you can't have peace, because any second that situation can spin out of control . Life's circumstances can change in a heart beat. If another person controls you or the circumstance in which you are involved, you may have peace for a while, but eventually that person may disappoint you and let you down in some way and you can lose your peace.
If you are in control, you may appear to have the power to guarantee yourself a peaceful experience , but eventually you are going to make a mistake or something/ someone will enter the picture to rearrange your circumstances, and before you know it, boom!
But what if God is in control of your life? With Him steering the ship, there's every reason for hope, every reason to feel confident, and every reason to move forward boldly in your life, expecting the best out of every experience.
How can God expect me to have peace in my heart when everywhere I turn I'm faced with greed, corruption, anger and other forms of evil?
Peace in the midst of the storm.
It is well with my soul;
When peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea-billows roll,
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
" It is well, it is well in my soul.
God's peace is not a denial of reality. God never intends for us to turn a blind eye to the reality of any situation. He intends for us to comfort reality with our faith and with a abiding peace in our hearts.
Regardless of what you are experiencing, please know that God is your peace. Put your faith in Him.
Read Psalm 91 one of the outstanding passages in the Bible, it speaks of God's control over all the affairs of life.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
