My lil gelding has sore hamstrings.
(left a lot more than right
) Chiro says he's prob I need of his hocks/stifles to be done. Si I slightly reactive but isn't horrible but he would start lower first. Because soreness tends o work it's way up. Told me to do hock and stifles And see if the si get relieved. Never done stifles... What's the regular protocol? Just vetalog? Vetalog and ha?
Note: I get periodic lamness exams, he is not showing any lameness.

Interested as well. Although I will say that for years they said "oh just inject hocks to help the SI.....finally injected the SI and it made a WORLD of difference.

I would get X-rays first for conformation that that is what is needed. I realize that Xrays don't always show early signs, but before I go sticking needles into my horses' joints, I need proof that is what is needed.
I wanted to add my daughter is a Chiro who is not a fan of injecting but even if she told me to inject, I would still get a very thorough lameness exam.

We injected the left stifle of Ima Firefighter before I took him to run with Kelly in the Gold Buckle Challenge and HOLY COW could I feel a difference in him when I was working him and I could see it in how he used himself!

I had a gelding that we blistered his stifles every 6 months and did lots of long trotting and his turns were snappy!!!!
