Only know about the ropers. They hold up very well. They have been around forever, used to do all the trophy saddles for the coors ropings and some of those I have seen from the 90's are still in great shape. Havent seen a new one lately.

We have a rope saddle and a barrel saddle. Both are well made, have held up and we really like them. Well worth the money IMO.

I had a barrel saddle. It was nicely made and I really liked it. I'd still have it but the seat was a bit too big for me so I sold it.

I have had one of the barrel saddles for 15 years and I love it. it's very sturdy. Not sure if you've ridden in it yet or what you're used to riding in, but it can/will throw you forward if you don't sit down. At least it does me.

My daughter won one of their 14" barrel saddles in 2009. At the time she was in a 10" about to graduate to a 12". I called the guys there and asked to make a seat shrinker for it and not only did they do a custom 2" but they made it in the same color suede material so it tied in perfectly. The saddle is well made and with occasional cleaning, has held up nicely...no loose parts or missing pieces. Conches and all.

From what I was told they got bought out, maybe 1-2 years back? the original maker still does custom saddles and they are amazing so I would get with him IMO.
