I have a mare that doesn't eat much when we haul somewhere. I know that a lot of horses have issues like this. Does it always mean ulcers? Is there something I can give her to settle her stomach when we haul? She will continue to eat plenty of hay and drink water but she picks at feed and only eats about half of her normal amount.
