Shakeology.

It tastes like death.
But it makes me feel good and I do not cheat when I am consistently drinking them

The Lean shakes from GNC are very good. The strawberry and vanilla are my favorite. If I want to make my own shake I get whey powder from hyvee. It runs 110 cals for 20g of protein, great ratio. I combine 2 scoops, 1 tbs of peanut butter, half a banana then freeze it. Get it out the next day, add a little water or almond milk and reblend it. It comes out to a wendys frost like consistency!!

I absolutely LOVE Beverly International UMP powder it comes in vanilla and chocolate. I buy it from body building website. ITs the best i've ever had and they have a bunch of recipes you can use to make different items with it on their website. Not knocking any brands but tried the advocare after using this one and i could not drink them, not nearly as good. I gave my advocare away. lol

Cellucor isn't bad, I like Magnum ones. The one I'm using right night is called MusclePharm and it's from Costco and pretty cheap. Most of my friends are fitness freaks and workout heavy so I get to try their protein quite a bit and I gotta admit, the MusclePharm is the best I've had.

I don't like any of the store bought ones so I make my own. Just add cottage cheese, liquid eggs(yes they are safe to eat raw) and a tiny bit of strawberry Crystal Light and run it through the blender. Taste like a strawberry cheesecake milkshake....tons of protein and actually made from real food. I'm not a big fan of sweets but you could add a teaspoon of sugar or packet of Splenda if it isn't sweet enough for you.

HAHAHAHA!!!
I LOVE your honesty.  Shakeology is one of those continuously "pushed" products all over FB and the promotors cannot even handle how delicious they are of course.  Thanks for speaking the truth.
Most of the shakes i've tried have that gritty after taste. Really have to force myself to even finish one. So, I pass on the shakes.

I make my own for breakfast...Whole milk, banana, almond butter, peanut butter, cocoa powder, ground flaxseed, sometimes a little wheat germ...it tastes great and keeps me feeling full until noon. The main thing is to use a ripe banana for sweetness, I stay away from artificial sweetners....that S#it is poison.

I love the Core Power drinks in chocolate. Monster recently came out with a chocolate protein shake that is REALLY good! I HATE Muscle Milk, tastes disgusting.

Agreed. My husband bought a Birthday Cake flavored one in a very big size and neither of us like it

Since I had gastric by pass surgery in 2007, I've had to get my protein in daily. I usually drink Premier Protein shakes that I buy at SAMs club. Each one has 30 grams of protein. Two gives me the daily amount I need.

I love my Thrive protein shakes. I've been drinking protein shakes for years and this the only one I've stuck with for over a year.

I like the 310 nutrition shakes .. premiere protein and muscle milk. I don't like multi level marketing anything ... so I try to buy products that aren't multi level marketing products ... with the exception of doTerra essential oils .. I became a member so I could buy for myself. I so dislike going somewhere and running into family or friends who are distributers for plexus, tupperware, mary kay, wraps, etc and you can't get through a visit without a sales pitch! Sorry I got side tracked!

this is what I use, it tastes really good! Not sure what's in it but it does it's job. I get the chocolate and throw some fresh strawberries or bananas or something in the blender and its great.

I also do what another BB said and just make my own. You can't even taste cottage cheese once you blend it up and its low calorie for the amount of protein it packs

The best tasting way to get a protein shake is to make your own but if you need convenience in a meal replacement that is organic/non-gmo look at mypurium.com L.OV. Shake as part of the Core 3 program. I have had HUGE results with it and LOVE the way it fits in my lifestyle. If you want more info, just pm me :
