| What is the going rate for someone to put 30 days on a horse? This would include, alfalfa, grain, stall, turnout, and 30 rides. | |

| I just sent 2 to my trainer, $850/month per horse. She feeds oats and coastal and that is included in the $850, I sent my feed for both horses and alfalfa, price is still the same. | |

| 30 days does not mean 30 rides here. I would hope they'd be worked 5 days a week, but it really depends on the horse, their needs, and what your goals are.
For 30 days on a horse to be rode 4-5 days a week, hay, grain, stall and turn out is $750. Anything "extra" you want them to have, such as alfalfa, supplements, etc. you need to supply. | |

Location: West Texas | Depends on the trainer and area. We charge $850 for 1 month of training, including feed. No need for turnout being ridden and trained. For breaking, we charge $950 for the first two months, then $850 after that. I would say 750-900 is about the range for quality trainers, with a good feed program.

| In my area it is a little cheaper, but even the futurity trainers and top riders only charge about $700 a month but does not include feed and hay. | |
