Has anyone dealt with a horse with seasonal allergies? What were the symptoms and how did you treat it? It's been really windy and the allergens in the air are starting to rise where I live...today my horse kept throwing his head all the time, even just standing in his stall or tied to the trailer which he never does. He also kept trying to itch his nose or just rub it on things which was abnormal as well. I'm thinking it could be allergies but I'm not sure. Checked in his nose and there was nothing I could notice...if it gets worse or continues I will bring him to the vet but I wonder if anyone else has dealt with this?

May be allergies, may be headshakers- I had a mare with a massive ear infection that acted somewhat like what you are describing.  So many variables
I brought my mare to the vet and went from there. I'm having great luck with Cur-OST products after I figured out what was happening.

Good luck!
