No Tune in a Bucket Posts: 2935 Location: Texas	I remember going with my mom to Hancocks when I was a little girl. She was a professional seamstress and made all of our clothes. Kind of sad that they are closing but people just don't sew anymore.

I have to wait in line for 3-4 people ahead of me all the time at our local store because people are buying stuff. I see a bunch of the younger girls getting back into sewing thanks to Project Runway and easy to follow Youtube channels showing you how. Pinterest also gets people in the store buying fabric. As for Hancocks, there's a lot of competition from online stores or other stores like Jo-Ann's that regularly sell fabric a little cheaper than Hancocks. I don't have a Hancocks in my area but have ordered online for certain prints that they only had there. It took forever for me to get my orders in -- usually went past deadlines for shipping -- so I tried to avoid buying from them unless I had to and had extra time for the project to be made in. I do hate that they are closing though because they did sometime
