BOT creates more of a warming sensation, where as PHT/ MagnaCu or clay poultice wrapped with the wet paper (to keep wet and cool for as long as possible) is more of a cooling which will in turn help to reduce the swelling more effectively that an a heat producing wrap/ or liniment.

My horses tend to stock up as well when they are stalled, because they are not used to being stalled.

I have their Back-On-Track quick wraps on them when in the stall, and then I hand-walk them every 2 to 3 hours for about 15 minutes. Seems to keep it under control.
