| Honors A Bounding, Mr TT Pacific, Mighty Mind Bender, El Scorcho, Cajo, Si Dude, an Easy Jet,the old blood most of the time tends to sire good minds.
Im a HUGE fan of Bender. I always have been but now that i own a daughter im an even bigger fan. My Bender daughter has the best mind and fits perfectly into what i look for in my mares.
Im sure there are newer lines that have good minds on hot mares but old lines is what i know. Options really are very open. I would think conformation would play a big part in what you wanted as well because there are so many that sire calmer on hot mares. |

Location: NE Texas | I have really enjoyed the two El Scorcho colts I have. They have been so easy to start and haul....actually haul better than my older horse. I wouldn't hesitate to buy an El Schorcho colt. They will have plenty of athleticism and mine have been easy, easy to start! |

Location: Mountains of VA | Breeding is a crap shoot!! You will never know what the best crosses are until they are done for several years/generations. The stud can only add just so much, as well as the mare. Then add in all the varibles of environmment/training, etc. ............I truly believe that genetics do play an important part but the "stars have to come together" to produce the special/exceptional horses. |

I agree with you a 100% but with the proper breeding program and knowledge you can sure stack the deck in your favor, but there are still no guarantees. |

Thank you so much---feedback from satisfied owners really means a lot to us. Absolutely makes all the work worth it. We do have a full sister. LOL |

I agree too.
It takes a ton of work and it still never works all the time. Luck sure plays in there too . . . good and bad. |

That's what I'm shooting for. Honestly, I wouldn't be that sad to have one like her. I just prefer quieter. What was firewater ta fame's stud fee? |

Not positive, but I think most of his get are still pretty young. May be too soon to really tell. |
