| I thought this was really cool. I am sure some of you saw the news broadcast of the violent protesting that took place in Albuquerque after the Trump rally. If you noticed there was a mounted patrol unit on draft horses helping to restore order. These big guys were magnificent. They were a sight to see making their way through the crowd. Anyway, some had rocks and other debris hurled at them but no serious injuries were sustained. Hats off to those officers and their equine partners!!!
After finding their website I found that they accept donations from the public for many of the horses everyday needs. If you would like to show support follow the link below. http://www.apdhorseunitfund.org/donations.html You can donate through paypal or purchase items to be picked up by the mounted unit from Paul's Vet Supply 3825 Osuna Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87119 505-341-9401. Items that they have listed as needed are: Vetericyn- Wound and Skin Care Fura-Zone- Wound and Skin Care Corona-Lanolin Rich Ointment Saddle Soap- Fiebings Fly Spray- Fiebings Shampoo/Conditioner- Mane N'Tail Shosheen-Absorbine Pedocan Hoof Ointment/Hoof-Flex Western Saddle Pads; 1-1.5 inch in thickness-Classic Equine, Impact Gel,Professional Choice 38''-44''- Western Cinch- neoprene- Weaver, Tough-1, EquiRoyal Horse Cookies Body Brushes Curry Combs Shedding Blades Hair Brushes for forelocks, mane, tail Sweat Scrapers

| I thought I read somewhere that one of the horses suffered a fractured leg or something like that? I saw a picture of the horse falling down.. can't remember if it was on fox news on facebook.
I found it.... the horse slipped and they said the horse was fine after it got up, no fractures. Rumors were circulating that the horse had to be put down but the albuquerque pd said that isn't true.

| There was a false statement circulating saying a horse had fallen and suffered a leg fracture. The Albuqerque Police posted that a horse (Striker) did fall, but did not suffer a fracture. He has since been checked out by a vet and is A-OK :) |

| For me, the point isn't that the horse and rider are ok. I'm glad they are, but the point are these flipping asshats that threw objects at officers and animals. These people are disgusting. Screaming about Trump being hateful yet hurling objects to injure. I'm so ******* glad that Trump just obtained the needed delegates. The other horrible reality is that most of these people were paid to get that pot boiling. Paid to escalate the protest. I can't wait for one of these people to get PAID to OUST the campaign that did it.
Just sick. |

| I wish they would find out who is backing these protesters. Hats off to the PD and the horses they ride. Seems like anymore they are riding into battle. Makes me sick that our nation has come to this. |

That would be George Soros.. He should be arrested for inciting riots. |

Unfortunately it isn't just Trump rallys, in Las Vegas at the Democratic meeting electing delegates Sanders supports were yelling and throwing chairs because they didn't get their way. |

| They should be arrested an charged under federal law...
"Under the Federal Law Enforcement Animal Protection Act, which went into effect this week, anyone convicted of purposely assaulting, maiming, or killing federal law enforcement animals such as police dogs and horses could be fined at least $1,000 and spend up to 10 years in prison. Previously, the animals were covered by a variety of state, rather than federal, laws. "

Being an a**hole comes in all political parties, races and religions. Too bad we can't vote them off our island called the United States. The first to go should be Washington DC. |

Lawmakers love passing laws but no one wants to enforce them so we have become a nation of useless laws. |

Nothing undermines government faster than passing unenforceable laws. |
