| A young man asked an old wise man to teach him wisdom. The old man took him out into a river. The elder than held him under the water. Upon letting him up the elder ask, " Do you want air?" " YES" cried the young man. The old man plunged him under once again, held him longer and upon bringing him up, asked " Do you want air?" YES! He cried, panting for oxygen. One last time the old man thrust him under and held him until the young man was kicking and fighting. He came up grasping desperately for air. The young man said in disgust, " A re you trying to drown me?" The old man calmly asked, " do you want air?" Well of course, you old fool, was his reply. The wise old man said" when you want wisdom as much as you want air, you will fight and get it!"
Proverbs 2:1-22. V1 My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, v2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and applying your heart to understanding; Yes,if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding.
The value of wisdom, for it is WITH God all things are possible.
Father God, guide me to do all things that bring glory and honor to You. Lay Yôur hand of protection from front of my truck to back of my trailer and all things Inbetween, as I travel on the road. Amen
