Industrial Srength Barrel Racer Posts: 7264	I think most of them do, it will just cost out the wa-zoo, which is why I have always dropped mine when they turn 15 - hated to but the premiums were WAAAAAAAY too high.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 582 Location: Wherever They Send Me	I used Horse Insurance Specialists and Ark Agency (had to switch due to moving states), and yes the premium is higher on the older horses.

Expert Posts: 2013 Location: Piedmont, OK	Anything over 16 and it's like 8.5%! I have a 17 yr old that had to have surgery and went ahead and insured her mortality only for a year so if anything happens I didn't waste all that money but holy moly it is expensive!!!!
