Can you use both together? I don't have any other hoof boot and thought I wrapped the hoof pretty good the other night when I packed her feet, but apparently not. Her feet are a little tender and want to give her as much comfort as I can. Any suggestions are welcome =

I'd be afraid of the Magic Cushion ruining the gel in the Soft Rides. Are you fighting an abscess? Or what are you trying to accomplish with the Magic Cushion?

Why both? I would just go with the soft rides.

No abscess or anything - just tender feet. I was just thinking if I did both maybe it would really help? Lol. That's why I asked, figured yall would know! =)

I used both last year. My horse got abscesses so bad the sole of his hoof sloughed off. I packed those holes in his sole with Magic Cushion, wrapped in a diaper and then put him in Soft Rides.

If if you just have tender feet, Soft Rides by themselves would work good.

I'd use iodine over Magic Cushion. MC will just keep them soft. Iodine will toughen the sole.

Go with the soft rides, I just bought my first pair about 3 weeks ago, they are awesome and you can see a big difference in the way they move in them. Since the feet are just tender the soft ride's will work the best untill the feet start getting tougher, are you treating the soles with anything to help toughing them up?

They're sore from the previous farrier putting too small
of a shoe on for a while and her heels were beginning to contract - at least I'm assuming they're sore. She's not off at all, but she's also pretty stoic. I know that can't possibly feel good so I just want to make her as comfortable as I can until her feet get better. It's also dry out here and the ground is pretty hard. Sound stupid? She's my princess =
