I guess if people are willing to pay that amount, then they will keep putting on the clinics, some people just like spending money just to say they can

I admit that I am a clinic junkie, I love them. Bums me out that my budget doesn't stretch far enough to go to more.

meganmc2209 - 2016-07-27 2:06 PM I've been to two Dena Kirpatrick and Ian Francis clinics and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Both were 3 days and these clinics have paid for themselves over and over again. What I learned from them absolutely changed my riding skills for the better. We spend tons and tons on training our horses.. why shouldn't we get help and training occasionally?

How much individual time did you get at this clinic.  I went to a Dena clinic and liked her but only rode twice a day in two days.  And my mare worked very nice so my rides were about 10 minutes.  I was thinking of this clinic with her and Ian but $850 is a lot of momey to worry about getting your money's worth.

I feel like I got as much individual time as I wanted. I took 2 horses and stayed on all day long. I didn't sit in the back and watch. I stayed closer to the front and listened and asked questions as much as possible.

I was worried about my mare getting hot after 2-3 days of working the pattern and riding all day but honestly she was more laid back and comfortable than I ever dreamed.

I learned so much. I took a little note book and took notes all day too.

btw, I am not made of money and had to save for a while for these clinics. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
