Hello!  I need a little help.  I have worn Luccheses for years, partly because I wear a 5 1/2 boot and have a heck of a time finding boots to fit.  I just saw a beautiful pair of Lagrange ON SALE (on line) in a 5 1/2 but wonder how they compare in size??  I have never tried one on.  If I buy them, and they don't fit, I wont be able to return them since they are on close out.

Thanks for your help!

I know you didn't ask this, but IMO you will not be happy with the quality or comfort of Lagrange after wearing Luccheses. There's no comparison for me.

But to answer your question I thought the Lagrange boots ran true to size, if you're looking at anything exotic check to see if it has any give/stretch to it. If it doesn't I would go a half size up.

I disagree.. I wore Luccheses exclusively before I bought my first pair of Lagrange.  Lucchese can't touch the comfort of Lagrange in my opinion.. I even stopped using my Luccheses for riding boots and moved my older pair of Lagrange in for that as well.  Lagrange is like wearing slippers!

I agree the Lagrange are my favorite shoes ever. There are so comfortable the leather is really well made. Super soft. Sorry no comparison.

I have both Lucchese and LaGrange. I prefer my LaGrange 10 to 1 over the Lucchese.

Lagrange are the best!! Comfy the first time you put them on and they hold up pretty good! As for me, I wear a 8 1/2 in sneakers but a 7 1/2 in Lagrange. I would def call Lagrange and ask! Great boot especially if they are on sale!??
