Mine does not have any sweat marks anywhere under the saddle pad, girths, or breast collar. Not even around her poll/ears where her headstall sets.
Thanks, that is just not a big problem where i live. feel so lucky. Hope the OP finds a resolution |

I have one with anhydrosis and he sweats under his saddle and flanks. Sweat under manes or tack does not mean they are sweating good. They have to sweat on their neck, head, etc |

Location: Florida.. | Most will still sweat under saddle and mane.. he cant cool down basically and his body temp will go up.... best thing for him is to send north.. the climate change and low humidity will do him wonders and usually most horses once living in cooler climates with low humidity thrive and do well and lead very active lifes.. thats what we usually do is try to sell up north clients.. have had a lil success with accupuncture but its not a cure.. |

| I know that no one will read this so probably a waste of time. I have been dealing with a horse that does not sweat for about 7 or 8 years now. This is what I have found works best for my horse. It is extremely easy. Having tried beer(which my horse will not touch), OneAC, Platinum Refresh. Make sure you start using OneAC or Refresh BEFORE the temperatures start getting hot. I live in NE TX and I start about the middle of April. Seriously, this is the key. Somehow I let the hot weather slip up on me this year and I did not start OneAC until mid June. I have had a problem this year because of my own stupidity. My horse just started sweating about two days ago. I will say that just a few miles east of me the temperatures have gotten intense and are worse but once again the key is starting the meds mid April. |

Location: Opelousas, LA | I have tried starting the supplements as early as March, never helped my guy. If I can't get him sold to someone in a better climate I will try accupuncture next May. ?My horse does not sweat under the saddle when its hot, even when he sweats some on his chest and neck, he will only get little streaks of sweat around his withers under the saddle. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Well yesterday while I was bringing up my horses for the evening I noticed one of mine was really huffing, so cooled him off by hoseing him off with cool water then he was fine after that. This heat is really getting to them, cant wait till fall weather. |

This what I have read, too. Start The supplements before the heat. |

Puffing unless I hose him off, of course we have several sweaty broodmares standing in the shade puffing, its just too hot! |

| Everyone's horses are heaving right now. All of mine are and I think it is a combination of heat and humidity. My equine dentist was posting about her horses heaving. (SE TX)
I didn't think of this but it sure has helped my horse. I give all of my horses about 2 tablespoons of salt in their feed once a day. My non sweater is also my picky eater. He would leave to salt in his trough at first but cleans it up now. I just kept putting the salt in his feed. I feed all my horses salt in their feed year round to make sure they drinkenough water especially in the winter. |

Location: Florida.. | The heat and Humidity has taken a toll on all the horses.. we put misters out in pastures, bring oldies in under misters and fans , and just try to get them comfortble until it passes. if you feed sweet feed Id back off it..

Location: Silver Lake, MN | I don't know how you guys do it down there...I live up in MN and we only have about 2 weeks out of the year it is really bad so horses can stay in under fans and be pretty comfortable. I know it gets cold here but I deal with it way easier than the heat. |
