Location: IL | Our fridge in the horse trailer works fine on AC, but it will not work on propane. When I switch it over it beeps and says "no flow". I've checked the propane tanks and we have plenty of propane. I've also restarted the refridge several times thinking maybe there was air in the line, but not working. I can hear the igniter turning on and clicking, but it won't start. |

| I'm having the same problem, not getting any fuel back from the tanks to the fridge or the hot water heater... have an appointment to get it in the shop. Tried everything I know to do, usually just takes a few times resetting but now...  |

| You might need a new circuit board. I just went through this same thing with my trailer. The part cost me $197.00. |

| It has been a long time but our travel trailer had a problem similar to this. I think it was a relay or something and was not a hard fix. Seems it went out a couple of times. An RV dealer is the answer. |

Location: IL | I was going to try and problem sove this myself, but if I can't find the issue I'll go to the RV place. It's funny cause I can hear the igniter trying to light. Almost like I have something plugged up?? |

I had the same problem earlier this year and the RV place I took it to found a dirt dobber nest right off and that fixed it right up! |

I've purged several times. Not working. I think something is clogged somewhere. |

Location: Mississippi | This is exactly what mine was doing and I could smell gas - there's a little door on the outside of my trailer ( I assume where the lighter is) and that is where the dirt dobber nest was. |

I'll check that out. I do have the owners manual. I'll have to do some research. I don't ever smell gas though |

Location: Tulsa, Ok | Generally when I have this problem is when the fridge has not been run on propane for a while. After three to four attempts it will usually light. One time the hot water tank and the stove as well as the fridge would not light. Turned out that the "02" sensor was out and that will shut down propane to all appliances. Fairly simple procedure to change out the sensor. |

Go into the outside access panel look for the ignighter . just before it is a tube that brings the gas back there. you should be able to get your fingers in there and unscrew the tube. Take a very small peice of wire or anything you can fish in there and run it around. They get suit or trash in that tube and the gas cannot get back there to light. Sometimes they light and wont stay lite. this has been my problem every time |

Thanks, I will take a look at that. The hot water heater works fine and so does the stove, so I'm assuming something is plugged up for the fridge. We do use the LP alot for the fridge. That's why I'm trying to figure this out so bad! LOL And I have alot of shows coming up. Thanks  |

| After you get it figured out, if you don't already have them, go to an RV place and get dirt dobber screens - WELL worth the money. (For the life of me, I don't know WHY RVs and LQ trailers don't COME with them). |

Location: in the ozone | spider webs are also notorious for plugging them up too. Be sure also that the little switch/knob that brings the gas into your fridge is not turned off (it's in the back of the fridge also). Had a guy working on a couple things in mine & he blew the back of the fridge out. I hadn't tried to light it afterwards for a couple wks & then wouldn't light. Called him & he came back out - he CLAIMS he never turned it off but I didn't even know it existed, so I never touched it. :) He didn't charge me anything, no service call - so to me that was an admission he figured HE turned it off. I also had to have the igniter replaced on it earlier.
OH - that guy told me that to help keep spiders, etc out of there - when you are going to shut the fridge down rom gas, have it running on gas & then shut off the tank. Let the gas clear the lines & the fridge shut off on it's own - he said the gas left in the lines attracts the bugs. |
