Elite Veteran Posts: 795 Location: GODS country	For example, if you are going to feed alfalfa pellets, oats and rice bran what is the ratio that you feed? Mix it all together or keep separate? Expert Posts: 1694 Location: Willows, CA	If you mix your own feed and use rice bran in the formula, be sure to use "Stabilized" rice bran. There is a huge difference in value for a number of different reasons.

Accident Prone Posts: 22277 Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR	Keep it separate and mix for each horse. That way you know what they're getting, it's consistent, and you can change the proportions easily between horses or as their needs change with seasons and activity.
