Location: Alberta, Canada | I have recently been taught that oils can be nebulized but should be done in water and you need to bang the oil into the water (shaking will not be enough) so that it doesn't seperate. I can't remember what the process is called... but a good hard bang against the side of the container seems to be enough, the liquid will go a cloudy color when the oil is accurately dispersed to the point of not seperating right away.
My blood analysis guy sat down with me a few weeks ago and we discussed the process, as he has me nebulizing helichrysum oil race day on my bleeder.

Location: North Dakota | I've nebulized essentional oils in saline solution before. I read it on the flexi-neb website. I have also read that distilled water can be nebulized but haven't tried it. |

That's only lemon or other citric oil.... from what I've been told as a young living rep anyway. |

That's only lemon or other citric oil.... from what I've been told as a young living rep anyway.
I thought it was all oils! I used a respiratory blend and the plastic in my cup is all cloudy now. |

yes, any oil will leave a residue. I use a seperate cup for oils than I do for just silver. But only citric oils will actually break down the plastic :) |

| A guy from equiresp told me not to put it in the cup but to put a swipe in the bottom of the mask. I had tried it in the cup already like my vet said but ended up having to throw the cup away. Bottom of the mask is SO much easier & my horse got full benefit of the oil. |

| I've used Thyme & Lavender.
Not any together & not even a drop. I swipe the bottom of the mask just barely with very small small swipe of oil on my finger.
