| We aren't all Trump supporters, you know? -_- You couldn't get me to vote trump if you held a gun to my head. I don't like Hillary either. Our choices are all horrible. | |

I take that as you will vote for Hillary, and you absolutely have the total freedom to do that. Since the majority of us on this thread will be voting the opposite, I was just wondering which half of us would you help HC put in the basket of deplorables?

You can take it however you like. Why does who we are voting for automatically make us good or bad people? You don't have to agree with everything a candidate does to vote for them. Do I think it was rude to call Trump Supporters "deplorables"? Yes. But I also think its rude to call mexicans rapists. I also think its rude to make fun of special needs people. I also think its rude to racially profile people for negative results. But again, that's MY opinion, and it's the only one that matters to me.
The reason I am voting for Hillary over Trump is not because I like her over him any better. It's not even a question of morals. When looking at what they politically stand for, I relate more to Hillary's point of views than with Trump's. Do I disagree with everything Trump has to say? No, in fact, I respect Trump as a business person who is doing a fantastic job at playing to his crowds. Do I agree with everything Hillary has to say? No, but IF she does what she says she's going to do in some of my strong opinion areas, then she represents me the best of the candidates.
And that is the point of voting. Rarely is there a perfect candidate who 100% shows everything you believe in, but every person has to decide for themselves what is important to themselves, and go with the candidate who best represents them. If that's Trump, then great. If it's Hillary, then great. If it's one of the third parties, then you go for it! The only wasted vote is the vote not cast.
I guess I just don't understand why everyone gets so hateful over who a person is voting for. | |

I don't think I was hateful to you... in fact I said you are totally free to vote the way you want. But in this last post you said:
1. Why does who we are voting for automatically make us good or bad people?
2. I guess I just don't understand why everyone gets so hateful over who a person is voting for.
Isn't that EXACTLY what Hillary did when she made her statement about half of Trump's supporters are a Basket of Deplorables. That is a direct insult to me. You were right when you said "you don't have to agree with everything a Candidate does to vote for them." Absolutely Trump is not perfect, but I would rather vote for someone who is not beholding to the Establishment than risk getting 4-8 more years of a liar and someone further dividing our Country! My vote will go to giving him a chance!
