| Psalm 118:24 This is the day which The Lord has brought about; we we will rejoice and be glad in it.
We need to enjoy every moment of our lives and stay focused on the present, today! We can't dwell on the past or look too far into the future, but we need to realize the present moment is God's gift to us RIGHT NOW. We need to take TIME to enjoy what we are doing. Never too busy to enjoy every aspect of life.
We can learn to enjoy God's presence in everything we do. Try reminding yourself God is with you throughout the day, and the moment you have right now is a gift from Him.
I struggle with the whole concept of enjoying life, there seems to be so much to do ,like Circle with no end. As I study on what The Lord had to say about it; I am learning to know His will and something I am not entitled to, but ACTUALLY NEED. I NEED to enjoy life for myself, but also for Jesus, Who paid a very high price for me to able to do so.
Jesus Himself, when He stated why He came to earth, said, " I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance(to the full and till it overflows) John 10:10 He said, " I told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be full in measure and complete and overflowing." John15:11 "But ask now and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy Amy be full and complete. John 16:24 when He prayed to the Fathwr in John 17:13, He actually prayed that we would have joy. " And now I am coming to you ; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them. Filling their hearts.
With Jesus Himself speaking and praying such powerful words about His desire for us to have joy, how could we ever doubt that God wants us to be happy and enjoy our lives? Perhaps it is because we fail to set our minds to enjoy life. We can easily fall into a pattern of surviving and enduring rather than enjoying. TODAY, I will have a NEW mindset that WILL release to begin to enjoy ALL things IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS ,MY LORD AND SAVIOR. The more you can enjoy life the more enjoyable you will be to others; so start TODAY and DONT DELAY!
This weekend is Live Life to the Fullest barrel race in honor of Kesley, she passed to out Lord with brain cancer. I have set up a fellowship supper Saturday 7 pm. Most bringing a dish, so we can and will take the time to visit and enjoy not only barrel racing , but each other. Father God, I pray that all there will come and share fellowship and enjoy the weekend. Have a BLESSED Friday and weekend
Father God guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Help me enjoy all things and not be so overwhelmed with daily routine, to do all things well and enjoy each moment. Amen  |
