| Hello!
I am working on putting a 4d barrel jackpot series on next summer, it will hopefully be a yearly series. This is my first time putting one on so any help with payouts, advice, etc would be much appreciated!
Thank you! |

| 1st I would try not to conflict with other shows on the same dates in your area. Have some kind of awards at the end of the series to make people want to attend all of the shows. You could use the same payout as NBHA or IBRA. Make sure if you keep points that they are updated early so people can see where they are in relation to awards. Remember to get help for all your shows. This is always a big issue. If you have all of that you will be good to go. Good Luck on your series. |

| Have your rules set up and posted way in advance. |

Location: Nebraska | Make sure the ground is good wherever you end up having it. Also, I would sanction with bbr or rfb if you're in that area. |

| One of our local NBHA districts has been using Google docs to post results. It is super easy for them and also nice that the file is on a "cloud" vs on someone's computer in case that someone has an issue and can't make it, anyone else on the cloud with a laptop can go get there file.
Within minutes of a division ending they have saved the file and posted the link on their Facebook page |

| Local groups here will snap a picture of the money earners and post it to their FB page as soon as the race is over. Full results will be posted with a couple of days. |

Location: In The Land of Cotton | State the rules and stick to them. I would do a mini sheet with the rules and full indepth you can email and/or post on your fb page for the event. And, have a handout at the show for people to read.
A pet peeve of mine that needs to be addressed is - keep a clear alley way or be dq'd. No excuses. |

| Rodeogo.com is very popular in my area. It's internet based, so that can be a problem. I haven't used it from the producers side, but they say it's supper easy. I believe it even prints checks. Everyone can see the results instantly. |

Location: OK | In Microsoft word u can make a table. With 4 columns for #, name, time and $. Have someone back u up on paper if u want, but after you've entered all the times, at the top u can click sort, Then sort the 3rd column (which would be the time column) ascending.
Also, even if u don't sanction, u can get the bbr payout off their site. |

| I would just go to other people's races. Been yelled at enough and seen too many complaints on FB helping at races to want to put them on anymore. People are ungrateful - or at least the most vocal. I am glad when I go to an event and don't have to help or listen to someone b*tch. Glad there are people that still want to put on events. Good luck! |
