With God all things are possible

| We must understand that the enemy wants our minds; he wants to control or influence as much of our thinking as possible . Just as we have to be educated about how to think as God wants us to think, we also have to learn to resist the enemy as he tries to influence our thoughts. The key to overcoming him is learning to discipline ourselves where our thinking is concerned, and discipline ourselves to BELIEVE we are disciplined is the beginning.
Discipline is a discipline. Reading the Bible, silence, and solitude.
Discipline is a tool given by God to help you reach your goals. " I AM a disciplined person, I USE self control."
One reason discipline our mind is so important is that the condition of it can change quickly. Ne day, calm peace, joy, sure of yourself and confident in God. The next you may be worried, anxious, insecure and full of doubt. We ALL have experienced these kinds of ups and downs at times in our lives and they are always rooted in how we think. Our thinking directly affects our emotions.
You can renew your mind with thinking, " I hear from God and I am led by the Holy Spirit. I refuse to live in fear, doubt and be double minded." We can easily feel overwhelmed by all the decisions we need to make daily unless we have the confidence to BELIEVE that we have the aBILITY to make right ones. Don't ever say " I have a hard time making decisions, I can't, because when you think and speak like that, you are setting yourself up to be confused. Instead, you can BELIEVE that when you need to make a decision, you will KNOW what to do. Remember this: you are disciplined and self controlled person according to God's Word. NEVER GIVE UP!! Failure is only a failure when your stop trying. Success is a stepping stone from failures. Perseverance is what apostle Paul called " pressing on". You can press on far beyond wherever you think your abilities end. When we run out of own strength, God is ready to give of His if we ask for it.
Disciplining the mind takes practice.
Roll these thoughts in your mind before you fall asleep at night:
I put God first
I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
God loves unconditionally
I will not love in fear.
I AM content and emotionally stable
I AM disciplined and self controlled.
I pursue peace with God, myself and others.
Remember , the mind is the battlefield. It is a place we can win or lose our battles in life. Developing disciple is never easy, but it's always worth it in the end. When you win the battle for your mind, you'll be much more decisive, more confident, and focused. Then, you'll also be a more effective and productive person.
Deuteronomy 30:19 God says, I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therfore choose life"
Determine today to set your mind on the right things and discipline yourself to keep it set on them and you will enjoy the great and powerful life God has in His mind for you.
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
Have a BLESSED Tuesday
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will, bring glory and honor to You Amen

Location: Central Texas | THANK YOU!!! Even though I know this, I still really needed to read it! I've been feeling way overhwelmed and have fallen into the "It doesn't matter what I do, because it will fail anyway". "No matter how hard I try, it turns into a wreck". And so on..... I HATE that attitude and and I've been struggling to get out of that whirlpool. |

I believe that as long as I am faithful to God I will persevere in this life's obstacles. The obstacles I am having to face have made me fearful and angry in the past but these days I am faithful and hopeful.
Thank you for this message and for your dedication to provide God's word. |
