I watched.  Hillary is a career politician and was more prepared.  Trump did a good job not flying off the handle, so that was a big win for him.
I hope Trump get's a little more polished and prepared by the LAST debate, because that is the one the people will remember, not the first one.
I'm 55 years old and this is the 1st debate I've ever watched.  I watched because more than ever before, I'm scared.

OhMax - 2016-09-28 9:31 AM I'm white, middle class, with a good job and company paid health insurance. This election scares the poop out of me. I do not favor the socialist leaning direction of the country. I am not sold on Trump but I am not voting for Hillary. It's an uncomfortable reality for me. I need to see Trump act like a grown up, present clear and consistent answers, rise above the insults that got him here. He's a smart man, I want to believe he can do that, but the longer the charades go on the more uneasy I feel. What I really think is critical is that Republicans maintain control of both houses of Congress. I think that evens out a Trump presidency and provides damage control to a Clinton presidency. Should Trump win and the dems take congress I think it's gridlock, even though he's a business man and likes to talk up his negotiating skills I don't think the dems will listen. Should the dems take congress and the White House...I don't want to think about it.
Trump is a democrat politcally. I'm also white, upper middle class, small business owner and a yellow dog democrat.

I have no problem with Trump's polictics. It's the other things. I don't know Trump so I don't know if he's a racist. I do know he says racist things and has racists followers. I don't if he's a bigot. But he says bigoted things and has bigots following him. I don't know if he's a sexist but he says sexist things and he has sexist followers.

As a democrat I'm least concerned about his politics.
The Democrat party has been inherently racist since its inception, and that racism continues to this very day. They use racist tactics every election cycle. Democrat-inspired racism is the main reason why this country is more racially divided since 50 years ago. The BLM movement is one good example. Indeed, our current president was elected purely on the basis of race, rather than past accomplishments. Credit LBJ for creating a black American monolithic voting block......he predicted blacks would vote Democrat for 200 years, except he used a racial epithet in his now famous prediction. Fast forward to the present and one only needs to look at leaked DNC communiques to find examples of their bigoted philosophy. As to the matter of sexism, Trump certainly hasn't cornered the market on that. The Democrat party is rich with misogynists. To wit: Bill Clinton.

You couldn't possibly be more wrong. Your shape shifting just won't hunt. The GOP is racist to the core. That's what trump connected to. He is the face of the GOP. He just says the stuff in public that the rest say in private.

Trump is a democrat politcally. he would have run as a democrat but he knew he couldn't win the nomination. His racist act doesn't play with democrats.

Case in point, my 70 year old father in law is as racist and bigoted as they come. Of course it's in private and around family when he spews his venom. To a black or hispanic in public he is a polite as can be. He has never voted in his life. Never been registered to vote in his life. he registered this year so he can vote for Trump. Trump speaks his language. Not on the economy, foreign policy or anything of substance. He couldn't care less about any of that. he connects with Trump as a fellow racist and bigot. And he is not alone. At a local hole in wall restaruant where he goes fro breakfast every Saturday morning almost everyone in there is in lock step agreement with him. Naturally no blacks or hispanics or asians frequent this place.

I thought there was a possibility that you at least had an average IQ.
I was wrong.
The fact that you have racist relatives who are voting for Trump does not make him racist. It only tells me you have racists in your family.
It doesn't make you a racist either....although you are a Yellow Dog lemming, which does lend you to a certain guilt by association...that is if I had a brain that works like yours.
If you want to engage in identity politics in this debate, you will lose every day, and twice on Sunday.
When Hillary referred to young black males as "super predators", is that racist, or does she get a pass from servile lemmings such as yourself?
What about the DNC emails that were revealed prior to the Democrat National Convention? Have you been programmed to give the DNC a pass on those as well?

Well, I'm at work and didn't get to find out all the details but it seems the saintly Hispanic Miss Universe (Alicia Machado)  who Hillary Clinton was viciously using to try to embarrass Donald Trump at the debate has a past that includes accomplice to murder and threatening to kill a pageant judge.  My My!!!!  So Clintonish.

Not a pageant judge, a real judge presiding over her boyfriends case in Venezuela.  Also, it seems the Clinton camp has been planning the little ambush that happened at the debate for a few months.  So sick of chicken **** politicians spewing out rehearsed lines instead of actually speaking from the heart.  Of course in Hillarys case she would have to have a heart to speak from one and she doesn't.

I had a person try to tell me today that there isn't going to be anymore debates that Trump has backed out because of his poor showing.  Also tried to tell me that he is dropping out of the race because he has 400 plus law suits against him so he won't have anytime to be President.  I haven't seen anything on the news that backs this up.  I told him it didn't matter because there was no way in H.E.L.L. that I would vote for her.

You might want to review your history if you don't think democrats are racist. Especially your Civil War history....like who wanted to stop slavery and who started the KKK.

Democrats want to racial divide the country. They just lie to our face and then pull strings behind the scene. If they divide the country then it will be easier to sneak in the One World Government that Obama has been campaigning for. The media has the American population in such an uproar over the NFL/National Anthem thing, the BLM fighting a war on cops and the general white population and Trump/Hillary that while we are focused on that, no one is asking about the gold reserve problem (China wanting it back), the $6.5 trillion the Pentegon has "misplaced and can't account for" and Obama's speech at the UN.

The truth of the matter is that the Democrat party WANTS racism. They NEED racism. People like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton make their living off racism. If racism is ever close to being non-existent, they would be out of work. The same holds true with the Democrat party. They need class warfare & racism, along with other categories of division.

Maybe I don't watch enough TV, but I hear the media *telling* us Trump said racist things, but when you look at the whole of what he actually said rather than edited video clips, It wasn't actually racist. "Illegal immigrant" is not a race. They have even been known to put racist words in his mouth like when he was talking about Israel profiling and one of the news channels reported it as he said "racial profiling" when he absolutely didnt. They're spinning a narrative and folks are buying it.

And if saying ugly things about Rosie O'Donnell makes him a misogynist, then almost every man I know could be described as such. Including my husband, who is as far from a woman hater as a man can get. I don't think his daughter could be such a confident successful woman who obviously thinks the world of her dad if he had ever given her the feeling that she was less for her gender. There are lots of things to legit criticize him for without making crap up.

Bear - 2016-09-26 8:31 PM Any surprises? Trump missed his chance to hit Hillary hard on her email scandal when the issue of cyber security was brought up. I was very surprised. Hillary was on the offense most of the time, but I don't see a clear winner. Nobody scored a knockout punch.

I felt he did a great job on getting back to Crooked Hillary on the emails and Cyber Security.  He was very presidential on that matter.

Trump on "the Cyber". Presidential?

At the presidential debate Monday night, Donald Trump drew attention to “the cyber,” as he put it, in an incoherent response to this question, posed by the moderator Lester Holt: “Our institutions are under cyber attack, and our secrets are being stolen. So my question is, who's behind it? And how do we fight it?” Here’s part of what Trump said:

As far as the cyber, I agree to parts of what Secretary Clinton said. We should be better than anybody else, and perhaps we’re not. I don’t think anybody knows that it was Russia that broke into the DNC. She’s saying Russia, Russia, Russia—I don't, maybe it was. I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China. It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, okay?

...

We came in with the Internet. We came up with the Internet. And I think Secretary Clinton and myself would agree very much, when you look at what ISIS is doing with the Internet, they’re beating us at our own game. ISIS.

So we had to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is a huge problem. I have a son—he’s 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers. It’s unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe, it's hardly doable. But I will say, we are not doing the job we should be doing. But that’s true throughout our whole governmental society. We have so many things that we have to do better, Lester. And certainly cyber is one of them.

Trump was very lenient on this question. He could have slammed that corrupt wicked woman on this. All he needed to do was point out Hillary's arrogance, recklessness, and incompetence on her own handling of cyber security. That is just plain indisputable fact.
