Exercise programs for Bleeders

I have been all over the internet for specific conditioning programs directed towards barrel racing and its hard to find. My mare was off having a baby for 1 1/2 years and I have brought her back slowly but feel she still needs more "air" in her conditioning. Looking for what your routines are specifically for bleeders?
I know you have to incorporate anerobic with the aerobic conditioning but do you do sprints at home or how do you get that in with the long trotting and loping?
Just curious TIA

I rely on runs at shows the get mine in shape. If your horse is a bleeder they will bleed when you breeze them. I choose to use lasix when it counts, not to breeze at home because it's too hard on kidneys for that.

I know by long trotting on the ranch, ours have all the air in the world. I think I would look into a nice long trotting program. I would hate to run one that is not in shape. I thought that is what caused some to be bleeders? I know it is talked about on the track. Some programs just don't have those horses in shape to run...but do it anyways.

I long trot and lope for 15 minutes, walk 5 or 10, repeat long trotting-once or twice a week and I swim them twice a week -2 laps, one within the current, one against it.
