You bought the prettiest mare in the sale. Congrats! I bought a JL too, I also bought a JL at his December sale. I love them. They are so people friendly and sweet natured. I have a colt and a filly. Only 2 months apart but the filly is huge and looks like a 4 year old....
That's funny, we bought her technically as my beginner-rider husband's horse. We got a gelding for him last year and learned he doesn't really want to ride at all, he just wants to brush them and feed them carrots, and I'm the one riding his horse every day. So she is perfect for us both! She follows him around like a puppy and I get to ride a cadillac. She is amazingly sweet and friendly, we love her, I am feeling soooooo lucky to have her. :) |

I see her at the pro rodeos with the JL trailer but she looks SO young in person I didnt think she could possibly be Benette. She looks fabulous. Oh and beautiful mare!!!!! Keep us posted on her! |

Yes, Lyndee trained my first mare I bought from Jud in the 2009 sale, a Cash Not Credit x Sister Toye. They do a great job, we sent our two year old Bug In My Frosty we got at the December sale to them. Love her, too--she turned out pretty well for being just a hairy, muddy, white yearling when I bought her. :)

Thanks! I grew up showing halter horses then had many years without where I just showed dogs. Hubby and I have won some of the biggest Labrador shows in the world, so when I got back into horses, I couldn't help but be drawn to pretty. I may not be able to jockey any of them to the NFR but I enjoy them every day, funny how pretty and talented often goes hand in hand with good-minded. Just like a well-bred dog. Hahaha. I'll have to show pics of the two older mares, they are pretty dang fun, too. |
