I'm looking at getting a new pair of boots because mine finally gave it up. I really like the looks of Dan Post boots but haven't ever tried a pair on and don't know of any local retail places that carry them. Anyone have experience with these boots? My foot is a little wider. Also, my arch is pretty high so I sometimes have trouble getting certain boots on. Any advice?

LOVE my Dan's. I have 4 pair. I bought a new pair at the NFR and put them on that day- then walked around until well after midnight. My feet didn't hurt at all!

I have 4 pair at the moment (well, more like  11 pair, but 4 are Dan Post...  )and I love them, very comfortable. The first ever pair of DP's I bought 4 years ago, I have only used for riding for the last year or so because the soles were getting thin.... last week I noticed both had holes in the soles.... so I am afraid I will have to part with them soo... So will have to go shop for another pair at the NFR....

SAME.
They are gorgeous, they are worth every penny. They look expensive and are quality made.
I have two pair and would buy more.

I have a pair that I absolutely love. They're very comfortable. The only thing I can complain about is that I haven't worn them very much and the heel is already worn almost completely away on the outside of each boot (I know its due to the way I walk, but I didn't expect the rubber to be worn down all the way to the wood block in the heel in only a few months) I've burned through the 1/4" of rubber already.

I have one pair of Dan Post boots I have had for years. They are more dress boots (i.e. I don't wear them out to the corral, LOL). I have a wider foot and they are a regular width, but I think they kinda pinch my toes. Not terrible, but if I had to stand in them all day, I wouldn't like it. Other than that I really like them!

I have a pair I really like. I plan to buy another pair of the same kind before they quit making them.
