Location: La Junta Colorado | My horse started having gate issues about 6 years ago... We pulled him off and all he did was ranch work for that time. I started running him again this year and he was awesome at first, but then started up again. We did 3 lameness exams, all negative, had his teeth done, shoed him for more support in his hocks, did multiple laser treatments on his withers (the only place he was showing positive) and checked his prostate and sheath... Also sent him to trainer for an "attitude adjustment". He's been working ok since, but was showing signs yesterday of starting it back up again... He's 17, and I started him on a MSM Chrondrotin supplement for maintenance... I am now free feeding and feeding a pellet complete feed. I am at a loss... My hauling partner that has worked with racehorses for over 25 years mentioned the possibility of ulcers. I just wanted to see what y'all might think and get some suggestions for ulcer treatment, what has worked on your horses. Thanks |

| If you think it's ulcers. Do 30cc's of Aloe Vera juice 2 times daily. Make sure your feed is low starch. And feed Alfalfa Hay . |

| Omeprazole is the only thing that has been proven to HEAL ulcers. Start him on a 30 day treatment and then find a supplement to prevent them. |

Location: Sunny So Cal | Its worth a shot, my gelding is a silent worrier and doesn't look like an ulcer horse. He is fat, has a huge stall with paddock and has food 24/7. But he started to spin me off just out of the blue or would bolt for no reason. He also would be a little sulky sometimes. I started him on THE GastroPLUS and within the month all of his attitude issues went away. He went back to being happy and fantastic. I am a firm believer in GastroPLUS! I swear by it! |

Location: NE Texas | I vote Cur-OST Stomach combined with a clean diet of top quality forage and whole grains as a medium for the Cur-Ost. Remove all processed feed and supplements! Then maintain with Cur-OST Total Support. |
