I thought last night was another smoking round- very exciting!
Joe B keeps saying- after they tip- that they would have clocked even faster if the barrel hadn't fell, because they need to clear the fallen can... It sort of drives me nuts, because most of the time they needed an extra step to get AROUND the barrel (thus, they wouldn't have clocked faster). Not taking anything away from the jockeys, though- it's great watching this year with the improved ground! |

If I had a dollar for every time the Beve called a time (in team roping, calf roping or barrels) that didnt end up being right, I would have a heafty pocket book by now. He does make it exciting though :) |

Haha! He use to be more accurate with his guessing games but has fallen a little short these past few years... I still miss his commentary when watching the NFR in person though. Just isnt the same without it! |

| I got to meet her in 2006 when she was running Fred and she really is just the sweetest and most humble person around. Always has a kind word to say. I was heart broken when Fred was sold and taken away from her and when she started moving on up the ladder this year in the standings I had my fingers crossed all year long that after 10 years she would again be up there on stage accepting a World Championship buckle.
Really made me happy to see her win last night. |

What a round. I felt terrible for Kimmie wall, that trip really hurt her in the average!
If Lisa can keep winning some money in the go's and win the average, I think she'll be your world champ! |

Funny you say that. We want to go see the NFR in person and I worry it wont feel the same without Joe and Butch comentating. |

I went to the first round last year and the announcer just wasnt 'great' like I was expecting him to be, being it was the NFR. But then again, I'm use to some really great announcers like Alan Moorhead. We were going to go to a 2nd round but wound up not. We had a ton of fun watching it at differnt places there on the strip. Dont get me wrong, seeing it live and in real time in person was an amazing feeling that I'll never forget. But I definitely missed the Beav and Butch. |

Ditto, I so want them to win the world championship. Lisa has said in many interviews that she really tries to balance being on the road and not missing too many family events. She only went to 38 rodeos to qualify which is impressive but dang I wish they had come in with more money won. |

I hope she and Latte get out of that funk. I hate to see any of the contestants not win any money. I know they get $10,000.00 just for showing up, but still, I like it when everybody earns a check. |
