Well, I was thinking after surgery twice last week, instant pot might be kinda nice . Laughing. On a serious note, I do have an instant pot but it is for heating water not actually cooking. I do have a pressure cooker that I use for everything. Veggies in about 10 minutes. Roast in 30. Still thinking about how good some instant pot would be right now. Guess I will just settle for a shower. Haven't had one since Wednesday.

I got the appliance InstantPot for Christmas.  Asked for it as a friend swears by hers.  I made roasted potatoes last night in it.  Only took 11minutes!

I got one and have not used it yet. I have a small pressure cooker already and a crock pot, but I like that i can put stuff in it and program it to turn on later. I work long hours and most stuff would be too done by the time I get home.

So how did you feel after the shower? I can remember after my last surgery how great it felt to finally get all the way in water. . . It was heavenly!! (I have no instant pot experience--cooking or the other---so not sure how it compares to the shower

I just bought one and I haven't tried it yet. I am kind of intimidated by it as I have been reading the directions.  I am going to make a pot roast this week.
