Is there any way to very accurately know the age of a horse? I'm in a sticky situation with a weanling, and I need to know his exact age, (months), he is supposedly 8 months, but his 6 month incisors haven't even started to break through. I know there is always an exception where they are late or early teethers. So my question is, is there any way to more accurately get the age of a horse, and how accurate are teeth usually? TIA
