Has anyone tried any of the food subscription boxes? (IE Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, etc.). I feel like my husband and I are always eating the same things in rotation and we both agree that we're ready for more variety, but I am not a good or creative cook by any means and I was looking into this as an option to get more variety. Any reviews or recommendations?

We do home chef and absolutely love it! We do 3 meals a week, I'm in no way a chef and I've yet to mess one up! It's really good quality food! $10/person/meal and it's one of the few companies that allow you to pick your weekly meals since a lot of them choose what to send you. My husband is very picky and we haven't had any trouble! Nothing but great reviews from me!

We did Blue Apron for awhile and most of the meals were very tasty.  I really enjoy cooking my own recipes though and felt guilty if I didn't cook all of the meals that were sent to us.  At the time, you couldn't choose the number of meals they sent each week but that may be an option now.   I would definitely recommend giving it a try though.  All of the ingredients were very fresh and alot of the things were items we can't get in our area so it was fun to try different foods.

Blue Apron is great, saves a lot of time and energy and everything is tasty. They send us two meals every week but we always have leftovers. Whole family was getting tired of the same few dinner variations, so blue apron made life easier and less complaining lol.

So if we're doing supper for 2 people, say 3 times a week, I'd pay $60 a week? Is there a required amount of time you have to agree to buy?

Thanks everyone! I think we will try 2 weeks of Blue Apron and see how we like it. Hopefully it's not a contract type situation and you cancel at anytime..
