Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | I have a side load so my rear tack has two doors and goes all the way across my trailer, I LOVE IT. I have pretty much pulled one of everything and this is my favorite trailer because of my tack room. Not only do I have tons of storage, but I like the fact that if someone rear ends me- they are hitting a bunch of saddles and not my horses. I don't like front tacks and midtacks because you have to step up and in with saddles, pads, bridles etc. I've had hip surgery and haul up to 6 with me, that's too much climbing in and out for me. |

Location: NC | Bought a used trailer about 8 months ago and it didnt come with rear tack walls. It has the places where its supposed to go but its not there. I keep trying to find the walls but so far no luck under $1000 from dealer. I would like to have one to free up room in the front tack, but am making due instead of shelling out a bunch of money ( would rather get an ac installed or an awning lol ) |

I bought a blanket bar an it was $350. Maybe you can find a rear tack in a wrecked trailer. |

Not sure where to find one. I keep my eyes open though. This is my first gn and would like to eventually be able to travel and stay in it which is why im thinking ac over anything. (not that i wouldnt love to have the rear tack but priorities) |

Location: Northern Ontario | For me it is. I have a 2 horse bumperpull slant and I try to keep most of my tack and hay in the rear tack because I sleep in the dressing room |

Location: Desert Land | I don't like the rear tack set-up personally. I custom ordered my trailer and had them put a big dressing room that eventually I want to put a weekender in and I have a 5' wide mid tack. The saddle rack swings out and there's plenty of room in there. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I would use the front tack, if those are your options on the trailer you're looking at. I hate the rear tacks! But, I don't mind stepping down out of the front tack with saddles.
My bumper pull has the front tack and I keep saddles in there because I don't like trying to put saddles up into the rear tack saddle racks. But, I'm short so that bothers me.
My LQ has only a rear tack, but it also has a ramp and that's not such an issue there. But, it's still so cramped in the rear tack, it's a hassle to get my things put back in there. Seems like I can never just set something down in there, I constantly have to rearrange and it just bothers me. I wanted a mid tack, but ended up with a 4 horse. That trailer is at the shop now having a stud wall added so I can make the first stall into a mid tack (present from my wonderful husband). |
