I have a 2018 couple lined up. But I am leasing the mare out to breed to the stallion I want. I know AQHA hss a breed lease form. But it didn't specify whether to turn in it with registration papers or after confirmed in foal.

When I do send in registration papers will I have to send in a trasfer report as well?

I am so incredibly excited for the cross haha.

Location: Gainesville, TX		You are supposed to send in the lease information to AQHA before the mare is bred I believe.

The lease agreement can be good for 2 years. From my experience AQHA will not register the foal till the lease agreement has been received.

If the lease agreement is in your name, you will be classified as the breeder, so you will not have to transfer the foal into your name

Location: Pittsburg, Texas 75686		Lease agreement can be for 1 month or two years and can be redone after that.  The leaser will be listed as the breeder.

Location: Not Where I Want to Be		and AQHA will cash your check for the fee then send you bill after bill after bill then threaten to suspend your membership until you pay it.

Then you will call them and they will argue with you until you mail them a copy of the canceled check then they will say

"Oops, our bad"
