Take a Picture Posts: 12841	After a school bus accident in Shelby County Texas, an eleven year old child is dead. Many had to be transported to Shreveport Louisiana which is about 100 miles away. Apparently the bus was stopped with flashers on while letting a child off and was struck by a pickup causing it to turn over. Please do not think that school buses are not safe. It is the other drives who do not heed the warning lights. I have great respect for the bus drivers in our district. They haul everyone else's kids as if they were their own.
