Kinda long.. going back to the vet Tuesday.

I've made post about this horse and this problem before.. I'll refresh on what vets have said and how he's been shod.

Sense January 2017 this horse has had a 'gimp' on the front left. Only first couple steps then he's trots, Lopes out of it beautifully..
vet flexed him and hoof testers and he was sore on his left foot heel. We took x rays and nothing showed. No rotation, nothing.

So we assumed stone bruise, something like that considering he is very flat footed anyways.

Sense then he's been off and on with that gimp. It's not everyday, definitely not every month. Just every now and then.
So I had a farrier that was supposed to know what he was doing put aluminum wedges, I wanna say 2 degree. (My fault) so this caused him to slightly sprain his suspensory, nothing terrible. We ultrasound the whole 9 yards.
Give some time off and go back to regular shoeing and he should be fine. So he's had 2 months off, ( even before or after I have and didn't haul often just once every month kinda thing) sense then I've ran him a handful of times all of which he ran and worked great, then 2 days ago I pull him out of the pasture, and he is SLIGHLY off on the front left AGAIN!

He did pull a shoe (on other foot) but anyways, had the farrier come out today and he put the testers to him and he was definitely sore on both his heels, (directly in the middle of the very top of the frog, NOT the sides)

So we put a wider run shoe on him and he made it a 'rocker shoe' so that he would break over faster and hence take some pressure off the heel. It looked real nice. Just wondering what people thought. All the research I've done on the shoe says it's great for horses exactly like him.

Anyone have any advice? Thoughtful tips?

Ask your vet about giving Osphos. What degree is he on? Should be a 53 according to my vet. Make sure he is balanced. Have you injected the Navicular bursa or coffin bone?

I'm really not sure. I just know it isn't navicular. No one seems to think it's that big of a deal honestly because it's seriously a small gimp. Some may argue he isn't even off.

He is club footed. I assume he is balanced. I pay a lot of money for my farrier to make sure he correct. My farrier is the one who decided to go with this rocker shoe. He hasn't led me wrong and he's the one who fixed what the other farrier messed up so I assume he knows what he's doing.

I will definitely ask my vet though!
