Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Thank you! We've never raised a buckskin before. Wish she was a he lol. Well same with the bay. My husband and I love a bay with no white legs and at most a star. All we've raised have been fillies.
The palomino has battled 2 bouts of the poos, one was serious. I've hand milked the mare for him, stood him up to nurse, given him countless shots and meds orally, washed his behind and slathered it with vasoline and now we are dr'ing on his eye where he banged it up and filled it full of dirt. We even had a joint ill scare over the weekend but it turned out he banged up his hock and had it swell some-all is good now. He better be a good one! |
