Hi All - I recently graduated from an equine massage therapy school and am looking to build clientele. I've reached out to friends, acquaintances, offered services to the crying hole of local jackpots. I'm just curious what it would take for you to take a chance on a 'new' therapist? I learned from a very very successful therapist but is not known in the area that I live in.
Any and all help is appreciated!! :-

I never allow anyone to work on my horses that I don't know by reputation.
What I've seen happen a good bit in my area, is that someone offering a service like this "sponsors" a successful horse/rider. Someone the local horse community looks up to and values their opinion. That person tells everyone they know that so-and-so is doing work on their horse, then people start flocking to them.

Good Luck to you, hope that you can get your foot in the door and start building that clientele

What about offering discount massages at events? Or offering some gift certificates as prizes? Just some thoughts! Good luck!
