So I'm looking for a Martin FX3 and I can't find one for sale in my size and gullet.  What other saddles sit you back on your pockets? I have a Crown C and I really like it, but it makes me ride more forward.

Depending on how your horse is made, the Charmayne James saddles sit me PERFECT, certainly not over the front. More " Stable Middle" I would say. I just love them! But they best fit a bigger solid horse with a good top line. If you have a real narrow racey type, probably not the saddle for your horse.

My mare is young only 5 and top line isn't were it will be and my other mare is super stocky.

I test rode a 14" 7" gullet and had to shim my wide shouldered gelding but that caused it to roll I LOVED how the FX3 rode but hated how it threw me around in the turns. I went with a coats lazy L and it sits solid on him and sits me centered.
