I'm needing something as a secondary because my insurance I have now isn't the best. If I could find something good that I could afford it would become my primary.

I think folks have insurance, but everyone is too depressed to talk about it. I teach in Texas, and Aetna is what is partially paid by my employer. I pay an additional $375 a month (my employer pays $225) for the "middle" policy. This is for me as an individual. I have no children.
My husband is a retired teacher over 65 and his Aetna Medicare recently changed to Humana Medicare which is absolutely awful. Don't tell your children it pays to get a college degree and work hard all your life, because it doesn't. We recently received a $589,000 bill for his back surgery because Humana has not paid for it.

I work for WSDA and have Regence. I think about $100 comes out of each paycheck. It's just me on it.

We switched from BCBS about a year ago to Christian healthcare ministries. We are self employed and our insurance was outrageous and a terrible policy. So far we are very happy with CHM! Also, very reasonable with great reviews!

Do you have children? Do you have to be self employed? I am adopted by because my son is married with a brand new baby. His BCBS is free at work, but to add the baby will cost him 800 a month which they can't afford.

I don't have insurance. It would be ~$600/month for a $12k deductible, $12k out of pocket policy. That's for just me.

I have BCBS through my employer, a company in the Fortune 50. I hate my commute and most days don't entirely love my job - but I feel blessed to be able to provide my husband and I good insurance for very little each month. It makes it worth sticking out for a little while longer.
